Essays on Philosophy, Business, Politics, and Faith

Why Start this Blog?

I am starting this blog to think in public about philosophy, business, politics, and faith. These topics I am deeply intrigued by and intend to study in depth. This site provides a path to develop ideas thoughtfully, test them against criticism, and learn from others with similar passions.

Writing in this blog clarifies thoughts and ideas throughout multiple topics, allowing for open discussion. Private thoughts kept in the head stay contained without criticism, leading to holes within the reasoning and logic. In this blog, my goal is to expose the thoughts and ideas I have, testing them against criticism, varying viewpoints, and ethics.

Why These Topics?

Firstly, Philosophy, because of the incredibly important shape it places on truth, meaning, and mindset. By voicing my opinions about philosophy as well as hearing from other people, I can give people a new perspective, and hear from others as well.

Secondly, Business, because it has ties with the career path I want to pursue, the requirement of sacrifice it bears, and the weight of pursuing a hard path. Knowledge can make or break your business, I want to provide knowledge as well as gain it in this blog.

Thirdly, Politics, because level of influence it holds for countries, culture, and society. Opinions in politics hold deep impact for the future of any country, so it’s important to me that I’m correct about the type of government that I want. By voicing my opinions and hearing from others, this is a great help in achieving that goal.

Lastly, Faith, because of the search for something beyond ourselves, the pursuit of what our meaning is, and how we use it. Not understanding or underestimating the level faith plays, will inevitably lead to steering off our ultimate purpose. By listing my views on the importance of faith as well as gaining knowledge from others, helps everyone better understand the significance.
